Dewalt Power Tools designed the DC315K which had a patented 4- position keyless clamp blade that allowed users to insert the saw blade into the two vertical positions that were common and two cutting positions that were horizontal so that it added convenience and versatility when flush cutting. When the blade was in the horizontal position, it helps the users to cut close to walls, floors, ceilings or where there is limited clearance. This helps in less breaking and bending of blades. The saw also includes a three position shoe that is adjustable and allows users to adjust depth easily. Weighing 8.0 lbs, DC315K is much lighter than other 24V, 28V saws that are in the market.
